Mobile Device Management) Usage Policy
Netsanity implements the use of Apple’s MDM (Mobile Device Management) for parents who use our service to monitor and control their children’s Apple iOS devices. Parents enroll their children’s iOS devices into Netsanity MDM servers in order for seamless and wireless control of those iOS devices by parents. MDM via Netsanity allows parents advanced capabilities such as the ability to disable the camera; prevent a screenshot from being taken; blocking access to erotic content and books; preventing fingerprint access; resetting a lost passcode, and others. Additionally, we use MDM to deliver a VPN profile to control and filter objectionable content, block access to objectionable apps; block internet on a schedule, and other website restrictions as per policy which the parent sets.
Please keep in mind that the MDM is a powerful tool and both the parent(s) and Netsanity will have access to a certain device and user information while the devices are actively enrolled in Netsanity MDM. Netsanity never sells, collects, discloses any user or device information to any 3rd party, under any circumstances. Our Apple app for parents does not send any user data nor analytics other than minimal information needed to troubleshoot the app such as crashes or other errors. Also, we only provide a minimal set of MDM features and capabilities to offer our service to our customers.
Some examples of data Netsanity may have while a user device is enrolled via MDM: list of apps installed on the device; battery level; the name and model number of the iOS device; the last time the device checked in; if VPN is utilized, the last 5,000 websites accessed. Netsanity uses only the minimal information it needs to offer the service and support to its users.
We do not store user nor device data for any information for non-enrolled devices. Additionally, backups are made only to maintain the integrity and operational stability of the service.
We have taken child and user privacy very seriously since 2014 and will continue to do so.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
